Hey,
I guess you have chances of getting a good BAMS college. But as for the college being government or private, it all depends on the particular College's cut off and also check the previous years cut off rank and marks.
You may get a government college in second or third counselling.
All the best.
Hello.
After completing the BAMS course, one can pursue his/her career in government hospitals, dispensaries, ayurveda hospitals, teaching jobs, etc. The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) is offered by many public and private colleges and institutes in India. The duration of BAMS is 5½ years to 6½ years including internship.
BDS - 450+ for Govt Colleges and 400+ for Private Colleges
BAMS - 440+ for Government colleges 400+ for Semi Government and 350+ for Private
BHMS - 300+ should suffice because there are only private colleges.
However usually the cutoff goes something like
1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000
2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.
3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.
but this is just an estimate as these things vary every year based on the difficulty of paper etc
All the best.

hey , although this year's cutoff for neet went very high and even the students scoring above 500 suffered from not getting their desired college. But ,when we talk about BAMS , for some top colleges the cutoff is above 450 but most of the colleges kept their cutoff at above 400 .So go for the counselling , you may have a chance.
