Amity University BA Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst the top 3% of universities globally (QS Rankings)
Your chances of getting Government college for the course of BAMS or BHMS at marks of 271 is difficult because the number of Government colleges is very less as compared to a large number of students.
“Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery” (BAMS) AND “Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical and Surgery” (BHMS) are the most preferable courses by any NEET aspirant.
To get admission in a Government college for BAMS/BHMS course, your score should be above 350 marks. However, it varies from state to state. In some states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala, and Punjab the cutoff may be on the higher side because of less number of seats as well as high competition.
However, you can get admission in private colleges because the numbers of private colleges are more in every state. The annual fee for BAMS/BHMS course is around 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs. Choose the college according to your convenience. The college should be situated near the main city and also consider the infrastructure and level of study in the college. Prefer old colleges over newly established colleges.
All the best. Hope this helped.

Hello Gaurav.
Good to hear from you. As per the previous years' records, the cut-off for BAMS for general, SC/ST/OBC(including PwD of SC/ ST/ OBC), UR PwD is 50%, 45%, and 40% respectively. So, you might get a seat in private college but the seat in Govt. college might not be possible. It also depends on your category, the number of seats in the selected college, etc. For more details regarding BAMS check this: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/bams
