Hii anil
As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so this year there is a slight increase in cut-off marks this year so based upon your marks it will be difficult for you to secure a seat in any medical Colleges but you can try for management quota seats in private medical colleges but for that you have to pay extra money other than your fees.i hope this information helps you.
Thank you

Hello Aspirant!

You have secured 146 marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. For knowing about which colleges fall under your rank range/score range(where you can pursue BAMS course),you can use the NEET College Predictor.

Good Luck!!!

Getting selected in BAMS is high.

Chances of getting selected in BDS is little bit low but their is probabilty of your being selected as score is quite good.

Hey there, You have scored 313 marks in NEEt 2019 and you belong to Karnataka. Sorry to say but your marks are quite low for taking admission in any government college. But Yes, you can try in BAMS College in Karnataka as you might get a seat there because of a lot varying cutoffs. You can check the previous year cutoffs of BAMS and there too your chances will be low for that. But you can try in some other good colleges too as in Karnataka you can get a seat in good colleges in there. I would suggest you check for government colleges in your state as you can get a seat in reserved quota too.

I would personally suggest you use the NEET Predictor and explore various colleges according to your category and home state quota and choose the best one for you as this college will be your future lifeline.

Vijayalaxmi, with the score of 341 you are obviously above the cutoff but chances of getting admission in a government medical college for BAMS are quite unpredictable. As per NEET 2018, the aspirants having score above 400 got admission in government medical colleges for BAMS course. Be hopeful, there are still chances to achieve, whatever you wish.

Hello Navya.

See the marks u have scored in the NEET exam is worthy only if u are having any kind of reservation category with state quota to pursue ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under MBBS courses. I m providing u a link for ur help.

Ask if any query. Good luck

Hey Preeti, You have scored 158 marks in NEET and you belong to ST Category. Really that will be very helpful to you while taking admission in Government Funding Technical Institute (GFTI) as some special seats are being reserved for each and every special reserved category. Sorry to say but you will not be able to get admission in any government college and not even in any semi-government college. Yes, You can try for semi-private college but you will have to check the cutoffs for this year as there are a lot of variations in cutoffs due to various factors. I would suggest you check for government colleges, semi-government colleges, and even some good private colleges too in your state as you can get a seat in reserved quota too.

I would personally suggest you use the NEET Predictor and explore various colleges according to your category and home state quota and choose the best one for you as this college will be your future lifeline.

Hello Motwani,

To avail admission into MBBS/BDS/BAMS colleges for the courses you need to obtain the minimum qualifying score or the minimum qualifying percentile. The NEET qualifying score is the minimum percentile that if needed to be achieved in order to gain admission to any medical college by passing the examination. For this each category has their own percentile.

1- unreserved category : 50% that is 701-134 scores

2- physically handicapped : 45% that is 133-120 scores

3- scheduled caste : 40% that is 133-107 scores

4- scheduled tribe : 40% that is 133-107 scores

5- other backward classes : 40% that is 133-107 scores

6- scheduled caste - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

7- scheduled tribe - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

8- other backward classes - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

In case of government medical colleges you need to achieve a certain cutoff that these government colleges state which is different from one college to another. The colleges state these cutoffs after the result is declared and the cutoffs vary on basis of certain factors

1- number of sanctioned seats

2- all over performance of the applicants in the NEET examination

3- the number of applicants to the college

4- the category to which the applicant belongs to

5- and of course the previous years cutoff marks.

According to these the colleges decide on their cutoffs and to know these you might want to get in touch with the specific colleges and their authorities and enquire the same. You can also make use of the college predictor to get an idea of your percentile and college availability-

I hope this helped.

All the best!!

Hey there, You have scored  192 marks in NEET 2019. Sorry to say your marks are quite low for any government college even in Karnataka. You will not be able to get a good seat. But don't be sad you can take admission in some semi-govt colleges or even in private colleges and secure your seat there. I would suggest you check the new cutoffs for all the colleges available in your state as you can get a seat in state reserved quota too.

I would personally suggest you use the NEET Predictor and explore various colleges according to your category and home state quota and choose the best one for you as this college will be your future lifeline.
