Amity University BA Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst the top 3% of universities globally (QS Rankings)
Hi rutuja,
Sadly you have not scored 50% in each subject (physics, chemistry, and biology) so you will not be eligible to go for the counselling of neet then you can't get bhms or bams this year.
You are advised to first qualify pcb group and then give entrance exams it would be better for you. For any other doubts you can clear them from us.
The NEET cut offs for BAMS in Kedari Redekar Ayurved college, Gadhinglaj has been around 450, as per previous year' statistics under 85% State quota.
With 450 marks, one can expect a rank of around 47,000 to 52000 in NEET. Hope this helps!
Best wishes!
Hey there,
In general, first to qualify in NEET, a General Category candidate has to score 50% of the top NEET score. It is 40% for SC, ST, OBC. For example, if the top NEET scorer has scored 500, General Category candidates should score atleast 250 and SC,ST,OBC should score around 200 to qualify. Now not every qualified candidate can get a medical seat. It depends on cut offs. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty of the exam and top NEET score. Every State except Jammu and Kashmir has All India Quota and State Quota and there is different cut off for each quota. Now every State has various cut offs for every college and Category. Tamilnadu is one of the States with highest cut off. But States like Assam do not have that high cut off. So it totally depends on what State you want to apply and if you want to apply under All India Quota or State Quota. State Quota has higher cut off marks. For Tamilnadu, it should be atleast 625. But for Himachal Pradesh it is around 300. And you cannot be eligible for State Quota of every State which means you should also try for All India Quota. But without having an idea of which State you want to apply for, it is difficult to guess your chances. For example, with the cut offs that Tamilnadu has, one can easily get a seat in a Govt. Medical college in West Bengal.
With 220 marks you may get a private college in bams bams but nit a government one...
Good luck
Hello
The cutoff at which you will be considered NEET qualified is 126. Hence, you are definitely eligible to apply in colleges via your NEET score.
But the thing is that BHMS and BAMS government colleges demand a bit high score in NEET than you have scored. This won't make you eleigible to sit for counselling process. You will have to apply in private colleges.
Good luck
Hi,
296 is a less score of you are looking for any Government college seat. In order to get government bams college, your minimum score should be 300 and if it is above 300 than it's better. Because as per last year's record anything less than 300 wasn't taken into consideration. The more, the better. But still don't lose heart. Wait for the results. Hope for the best.
Good luck!
