Hi Ruchika,
Well you can opt for private colleges but getting a seta in government college might be possible and might not be possible with such marks for BDS and might be possible for BAMS.
All things will depend on your category and your category will help you in getting a seat in Colleges.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Dear Candidate,
See as per your Marks-260 which is very low it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side.
You can get into BHMS colleges.
The fee for some of the low-cost private colleges are
1.Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai The fees is around 32 lakhs
2.CCM Medical College, Durg The fees is around 43-45 lakhs
3. Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur The fees is around 27 lakhs
4. Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore The fees is around 1.5 lakhs
5. Sri Aurobindo Medical College, Indore The fees is around 6-8 lakhs
At this stage, I will suggest you must use this link to get a fair idea about the colleges both Private and Government you can get as per the score you have received and then plan accordingly.https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Hi Diksha,
Well you can go for private colleges where the cut off is usually low but the possibility of getting a seat in government colleges seems a bit difficult and low. Still attend the complete counseling to know more as you might get allocated one in the mop up round, if organised.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Dear student, with 361 marks in NEET UG 2019 and also considering the reservation criteria, it seems a bit difficult that you will get a seat in government BAMS colleges. You also have little chances of getting category A seats in private colleges. Most probably you will have to go for management quota seats only.
Hello,
please note that to take admissions in BAMS courses anywhere in India, it will be compulsory for you to appear in NEET from 2018 onwards. 2017 was the last year in which states/institutions were able to admit students to AYUSH courses through their own exams and counselling procedures without NEET. The Ministry of AYUSH has made NEET compulsory for BAMS admissions in June 2017. From next year onwards, private/state-level examinations will no longer be conducted to fill seats in any of the AYUSH colleges, and all admissions to BAMS courses will be through NEET only. If you are completing your schooling in 2019, you will be required to appear for NEET for admissions to BAMS in any college.
Hope this helps.
Hey Jena,
Every year NTA Organise NEET. For admission in different courses across Medical field. For Admission in BAMS You must have to Be 12th pass in PCB Group with alteast 50% and You should Give NEET and gets good score. Registration on NEET will be released by NTA. So keep checking NTA Site for regular updates.
Best of luck
Hi Kavana,
Well the chances are low and getting a BAMS seat with such marks seems difficult but still continue with the counseling process ti the end to know more.
Maybe you might get a seat in the mop.up round of counseling.
You category status will help you.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Hi Sanchit,
Well for a general category student to get a government BAMS college, the cut off usually goes around 430+ in government colleges.
If your score is lower than that, still you can attend the counseling and can get a seat if vacancy exist in mop up round.
Private colleges can also be an option where you can get a seat if you opt for it.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Hi Kalpana Saini !
For state quota seats in UP, the last admission in OBC category was on 465 score in Motilal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad. Warning - This is old and not suitable for this year as there are lots of candidates and also depends on the paper level, state, rank. You may miss your seat!
