Hii !!
Generally the cutoff for BAMS is generally 400 + for government colleges and it is 280 + in private colleges. It is advisiable to take admission in government colleges. However private college fees ranges from 1 to 3 lakh per year. Anyway its your choice of choosing the right one for you.
Don't lose hope !!
Best of Luck !!

Hi Meenakshi,
Since Ayurveda is a recent inclusion into NEET pattern
nothing can be said being certain. Considering even the marks of 400/720 though (and considering UR category) your rank might be in the range of 76000-78000 which won't be quite enough for MBBS or Dental. And if your marks are near the early 300s even BAMS won't be available in government colleges. As per private college Ayurveda seats you can try your luck but since no details of past years cut-offs are available nothing can be said of sure.
Thank you.

hi ,

last year cutoff of bams in maharashtra was

420+ for general and 400+ for obc in government colleges.

400+ for general and 360+ for obc in semi-government colleges.

300+ for general and 280+for obc in private colleges.

hope this will help.

all the best!!!

So Admission to BAMS is based on marks in NEET exam.

Cutoff is based on No. Of factors.

Type of College - There are 3 types of Colleges for BAMS

1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.

You can also get for lower marks with donation or some management quota or Vacancy quota.

Now as question is about government colleges it depends upon reservation and marks obtained in Neet.

For good Government colleges the cutoff is as high as 480+ while Normal government colleges have cutoff in the range of 450+ for General candidates.

OBC - 420–440

SC- 350 -380

ST -300–350

Hope it helps.
