Hello aspirant,

You should take a college for BDS or BAMS now. According to my knowledge we only get 3 attempts for neet. If not also I think its best to take a college now since you might get a better job perceptive later.

Also you may take up courses like biotechnology or forensics.

Hope it helps

Good luck

Admission to BAMS is based on marks in NEET exam.

Cutoff is based on No. Of factors.

Type of College - There are 3 types of Colleges for BAMS

1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.

Hi there.
If I have to choose between BDS and BAMS, I'd say that you go for BDS is the job related scope for dental studies is really great after you have completed your masters. If you are pursuing BDS then it is advisable to stick to your course rather than taking the bridge course and completing your MBBS which takes even more time even after you have completed your bachelors. It is quite an option to pursue MDS which is also as good. These bridge courses take away lot of time from your prime years which could be spent in creating a better professional value. But if you are very interested in MBBS then you can go for it. Even then doing BDS first and then going for the bridge course should be a priority over doing BAMS.
Thank you and good luck for your future.

Dear Esha Yadav

Comparing your marks and cutoffs from previous years , you have high chances to get into a BAMS college through AIQ counseling , don't miss any counseling and don't loose hope .

All the best .

Hi niketa

The cut off for ur category in 2019 would be different as of previous year cut off was 462 . So there is possibility of getting a seat either in BAMS as the no of seats have increased by around 400 this year. This is my personal opinion .Original cutoff may vary. The cutoff for BAMS was 450 in 2018.

Good luck

hey ishanee

you getting a mbbs seat whether in private college or government does not only depends on your neet marks. it also depends on your reservation category and preferred state. states like rajasthan and kerala usually have high cut off so you cannot get seat there with 260 marks. you can predict college by visiting following link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=neet_clgpd_landing_page&ici=clevertap-sticky-web#

thankyou goodluckk
