Dear aspirant,

MD in Ayurveda is a 3-year, full-time post-graduate course divided into 6 semesters. Ayurveda or Ayurvedic science deals with the study of health care covering the broad areas of good lifestyle & wellness. Ayurveda, besides being a medical science, is the ‘Science of life’. The job of an Ayurvedic professional is challenging, keeping in view the wide range of incurable diseases newly emerging, and the failure of other systems of medicine, such as Allopathy, to address them.

Procedure for admission starts by counselling after qualification of entrance examination.

All the best.

Dear aspirant,

You have not mentioned the name of any college in Telangana for which you wish to see the BAMS and BHMS 2018 merit list. So please mention the name of the college, accordingly I will be able to provide you the merit list.

Wish you luck and please provide me the requisite details.

Yes sure. You can get a seat in BAMS course easily with this marks but the only thing is you won't get any government college if you are from general category. You need to opt for private colleges. You can also try for BHMS BPT if you have interest in those courses.

Best wishes.

Thank you.

Hi Jadhav,

Getting BAMS at 156 might not be possible because even for ST students the cut off goes around 250+ for government ayurvedic medicine admission. You can opt for private colleges where you might get a seat but there is no guarantee because your marks are very low.

I hope this information helps.

All the best.

Hi Devanshi

Though you have not mentioned your category and the states you want information for .Find the general details related to the expected cut off for different categories for getting admission in AYUSH Courses through NEET 2019.

For UR: 420 and above

For OBC: 400 and above

For SC: 350 and above

For ST: 310 and above

So the chances are equal to no dear.

NOTE: These are the expected cut off.The cut off varies from state to state. It may be less for other states.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck.

Hi Shashank

Though you have qualified the neet paper but with this marks its hard to even get a private medical college. But you can go for counselling for private colleges if you want.

Here is the list of MBBS colleges have a low fee structure :

  • Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar
  • Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Mangalore
  • Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Manipal

With this score getting BAMS won;t be possible as for OBC the cut off is around 350+.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck.

Hi Seenu

Though you have not mentioned the state and category but nevertheless. With this marks there are some chnaces to get the BAMS Admission if you belong to ST Category but if belong to any other its not possible to get a seat.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck.

Dear Bhumika, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, 497 marks under General Category secured a MBBS seat in Vikhe Patil Medical College. So with 400 marks you can get a seat in BAMS. You might as well have a chance at BDS in a Government Dental College.

Hello Aspirant!
Pt. Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic College, Bhopal is a well reputed government college for BAMS courses. In 2019, its admission cut-off is 50 percentile for UR candidates which corresponds to a NEET UG score between 701-134. Since your NEET UG score lies within the cutoff range, you do have a chance to get admission there. However, the intake for BAMS UG course is 60. This might pose a competition for you.
