Hi ahmad ,
You have scored good in meet 2019, and with this marks you can have a bams seat in the mumbai colleges. You should participate in the counselling process of bams colleges.
As you belong to general category so it seems to be somewhat difficult but yet hae some chances so try in the counseling.
Otherwise you can have a private college of bams also but it will be somewhat expensive.
For any other information you can ask us.
You havent mentioned the State you belong to. Having Sanskrit as a subject or not knowing Sanskrit as a language has got nothing to do with BAMS admissions. Having said that, this year the cut offs have gone way higher. 362 marks in OBC Category is tad less for a seat in BAMS. 517 marks secured a seat in B.V.Sc under OBC Category. Which means, BAMS will have a cut off between 400- 450.
Hi Tanmay,
For a general category student with a marks of 340, getting a BAMS government college might not be possible.
Usually the cut off for general category students for BAMS goes around 460+ in government ones.
You can consider the options of private BAMS colleges where you have more chances of getting seat. State quota also, attend the counseling till the end to know more and to have more chances.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Hey Annu,
It completely depends on your interest, if you are interested in Nursing course and can appreciate yourself with the course then it is a very good option.from AIIMS and if you're getting a college for BAMS according to your expectations then BAMS is not a bad option too, the course has a great scope in India as well as in Abroad.
But if you are not satisfied with either go for NEET 2020.
But I will suggest you to drop only when the above courses are not matching with your interest and expectations and you are sure that you can earn enough score next time to get MBBS in a good college.
Good Luck!
Hello Sagar. Sorry to say but you cannot directly apply for the mop up round. Read the eligibility criteria for mop up round in the link given below. Good luck.

hope this helps
Dear Abhijit, this year the cut offs have gone way higher. A score of 517 got a BDDS seat. That has been the intensity if the competition. With a score of 194, even though you belong to SC Category, the chances of a seat in BAMS even in Government aided colleges are less. Any score less than 380-400 is difficult for a seat in BAMS.
