Hello Reshma,
Each and every course is good and has wonderful scope. It is just that people fail to realize what they want from them and end up making wrong decision.
BAMS is more of medical science and treatment. Agriculture is all about exploring the nutrition, well-being, and innovation in plants. So, whichever suits your need, go for that.
Thanku.
Hello,
There is no bond system applicable in Uttarakhand now.
It has closed the facility of bond education for MBBS and MD/MS students in Haldwani Medical College and Doon Medical College from this academic year.
The facility that will be available only at Srinagar Medical College and Almora Medical College.
Hope this helps!!
Open or general seats are unreserved in their true essence. This means that a UR (unreserved) seat is not reserved for any candidate of any category, not even for general category. This seat is strictly filled on the basis of merit. This means that even if you are general/ SC/ ST/ minority, you can claim that seat if you rank high enough in the merit rank.
Hi Priyanka.
The admission to BAMS course is done through NEET . The cut off marks will vary according to the type of college.
For Government Colleges, the cut off will be 420+ for general candidates and 400+ for OBC candidates.
For semi government colleges, the cut off will be 400+ for general and 360+ for OBC.
For private colleges, the cut off will be 300+ for general and 280+ for OBC.
Hope this information helps.
Best Wishes!!
Till last year, BAMS admissions in Karnataka were carried out through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Only from 2018 onwards will it be conducted through NEET.
Some states like Maharashtra and Kerala did conduct BAMS admissions in their state-run Ayurveda colleges on the basis of NEET scores last year but the scores vary heavily.
For example, candidates in Kerala were given admission to BAMS courses if they scored 390 or above in NEET 2017. However, candidates in Maharashtra required only 70 marks.
Hence it is very difficult to know what a good score will be for admissions in Karnataka since there is no precedent and comparisons cannot be drawn with any other state.
To be safe, aim for a minimum score of 200 to qualify for BAMS admissions in Karnataka.
Good Luck!!!
Not at all my dear it requires mbbs
Hi,
Well BAMS counseling is also organised by the state quota counseling bodies under ayush courses category. After MBBS and BDS ayurveda, homeopathy, veterinary, Unani and other course allotment is done on the basis of neet score itself. So you just have to enroll and register there to get a seat if you have good scores.
I hope my answer helps.
All the best.
The fee structure varies college to college so kindly be specific with the same in which you are interested.
