Its highly unlikely that you will get a government bams college as the Cutoff of GOVERNMENT collee range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.You may have slight chances in state quota.

NO, BAMS admission takes place through NEET. One must qualify NEET exams to get admission BANS college.
BAMS college admission is on the basis of NEET score.

Do we have to study sanskrit only in first year of BAMS ?

Hey there

No there are subjects in sanskrit which you will have to study in Sanskrit in first year of BAMS. It doesn't mean you don't have to study subjects bin English infact most of the subjects will be in English.

When the choice filling for bams will start??

Hello,
Ayush admission central councelling committe is responsible for conducting Counselling for admission in ayush courses through all india quota.
The councelling process had already begun on 25th of June
Choice filling for the first round of councelling was scheduled on 2nd July 2019 (10:00AM to till 05:00 PM)
As per the councelling schedule Regiatration For the second round of ayush councelling is likely to begin from 27th july. Choice filling will be done on 28 th july.
If you are looking for state ayush councelling then the registration for the same are likely to begin from the 1st week of September.
As of now make sure that you keep yourself updated about all the details related to the councelling process . For further details do visit the official site.

Can I get bams government seat in karnataka by getting 295 in neet 2019(mysore)??

Hi Akshata,

It will depend on your category. If you are a general or OBC category student then it is not possible for you to get a government college.

But if you belong tto other categories then you might be allocated a government college because the cut off can be less for such students. Still there is chance but no guarantee because cut off has increased this year as the paper was easy.

Hi Manjunath,

Getting a government quota seat for BAMS with such low marks is very difficult.

The chances are not there to get a BAMS government college.

I would recommend you to consider private colleges for the same course because you won't be able to get a government seat.

Does we have to fill separate form for bams and physiotherapy?

Hey,

Candidates seeking admission is undergraduate (UG) courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) will have to qualify NEET exam. The Ministry of AYUSH has implemented this from the 2019-20 academic session.

an official notification was released by the Ministry of Ayush to start the admission process to the BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses through NEET exam.
AYUSH is a division of the Indian government and is liable for the development, education, and research in Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine), Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy, Sowa Rigpa (traditional Tibetan medicine) and other indigenous medicine systems in India.
Candidates seeking admission in BHMS, BAMS or BUMS course from Indian institution, will need to register themselves for NEET 2019 and appear in the examination.
