Hello Kritika!

Considering your rank, category and domicle status in IPU CET BPO/BPT/BAMS/B.SC(MLT)/BHMS code 124, You have no chances of getting admission in the college affiliated with GGSIP University i.e Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan. Generally a rank upto 400 is considered good enough to expect admission in this college for BAMS undergraduate course.

All the best!

Hello Riya !

Can you please elaborate your question so that i can provide you some asistance. From the given question I can not interpert anything. Please comment below with some more information. If you mention the type of institute you are talking about then I can provide you some assistance.

Dear Candidate,

Admissions to BHMS and BAMS Colleges are generally conducted by AYUSH. Admission to these two courses, i.e. BHMS and BAMS can be done either through 15% AIQ (All India Quota) or 85% State Quota.

Admission to BAMS/BHMS can be done on the basis of NEET Marks.

For admission through AIQ, you can visit the link :

Apply for new registration.

The state counselling schedule has not been released yet. For the list of colleges offering BHMS and BAMS colleges, refer the link: http://ayush.gov.in/sites/default/files/File157%20State%20wise%20Institutes%20%28.pdf

Dear Aspirant,

Both courses are quite different. BDS is a course which will put a limit or a boundary on your career. You could either be a Dentist or nothing. But this does not mean a bad thing. We are in fact, falling short on Dentists in our cities and doing a BDS is certainly a good thing. BAMS on the other hand despite its multidimensional approach is losing its charm as most of the patients do not want to go to a BAMS doctor.

Therefore, if these two are the only choice you have and you have no problem on becoming a doctor then I suggest BDS, however, if you do not want to limit yourself to that do BAMS.

Hope this helps.

Thank You.

Hii,Till last year, BAMS admissions in Karnataka were carried out through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Only from 2018 onwards will it be conducted through NEET.

Some states like Maharashtra and Kerala did conduct BAMS admissions in their state-run Ayurveda colleges on the basis of NEET scores last year but the scores vary heavily.

For example, candidates in Kerala were given admission to BAMS courses if they scored 390 or above in NEET 2017. However, candidates in Maharashtra required only 70 marks.

Hence it is very difficult to know what a good score will be for admissions in Karnataka since there is no precedent and comparisons cannot be drawn with any other state.

To be safe, aim for a minimum score of 200 to qualify for BAMS admissions in Karnataka.

Good Luck!!!

Hi Malunjkar,

Yes, you can apply for the counselling processes of both bds as well as bams because they are conducted separately and a candidate who appears for neet exam get the chance to apply for both mbbs/bds as well as ayush courses counselling without any restrictions or problems .

So, without any worry go and apply.

Good luck.

Hello

It would be difficult to tell you exactly about your admission chances as the admission cutoff varies depending on many factors. Counseling process for admission through state quota seats has been started in Gujarat and I hope you might have registered for the same.

Hope for the best.

All the Best.

Hi meenakshi...
As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so if you belong to general category and if you are applying under 85% state quota seats then to be on safer side you should score above 410 marks to secure a seat in government ayurvedic college.
Thankyou

Dear Candidate,

Soryy but No, you need to have a state domicile to be eligible for the 85% MBBS seats in the participating states.

I hope this helped you.

ALL THE BEST!!
