Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) is a graduate degree course in Ayurvedic system. This degree is awarded after the completion of 5 years and 6 month degree programme containing the 4 and 1/2 yearacademic session and one year internship programme with live practical.
Day by day, the scope of Ayurvedic is overlapping to the other medical system not only in India but also in the world. In many cases the people have taken the experience for the trustfulness of the Ayurvedic system and medicines treating for the chronic and non-healable disease.

I will suggest you to go for bams counselling in your state and don't worry much. Wait till last round of counselling to see if there is any chance for you to get a seat. Although this score is bit less for a good government college but still try. I will also suggest you to go for bhms counselling too. Hope for the best. Good luck! 

Dear Siddhant, in 2018 under State Quota, 469 marks secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College under General Category. That was the cut off. With 506 marks, you can certainly get a seat in this college. But if you are particular in prefering BAMS, you have fair chances at a seat in Government BAMS college.

See for getting into bams and to get a good seat your score must be above 300. Till last year this score was considered good.

For homeopathy, a score above 200 is good to go for counselling and will help you get a seat. But the higher the score the better seat you may get. So aim for the higher marks. Hope for the best. Good Luck!

For the accurate information on the cut off you have to wait till the commencement of counselling for bams. It will begin soon. But any score above 300 is considered good for getting a good government bams seat. Don't worry for now. Meanwhile go through previous year's cut off to get a rough idea. Hope for the best. Good Luck!
