Hello,.
Admission to a college depends on several factors.
Two important being ones category and state. 85 % seats are reserved for the natives of any state rest 15 % are left open for candidates from all over the country. So if you have domicile of any state then it would become easier for you to get admission in that state through 85 % state quota.
You have not mentioned your category so its difficult to predict any thing.
Generally The expected cutoff marks for admission into bams course for general category students is around 300 for private colleges it's around 250.
Reserved categories do entertain relaxation in cutoffs. To some extent.

Dear Sabin,

You have got very less marks and you are in the boderline so getting a BAMS college will be decided by your state rank and the number of students I your ate applying for BAMS. But according to me you have xhna as of getting into BAMS as the cut off of previous years is around 300 for SC category and you have marks higher than that.

ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR COUNSELLING!

Hello,
Yes with this mark ,you have good chances of getting a bams government seat.
The expected cutoff marks for admission into bana courses for general category students is around 300 for private colleges it's around 250. Since you are from obc category so you will also enjoy some relaxation in the cutoff. Moreover if you have domicile of any state then it would be slightly easier for you to get admission in that state through 85% state quota.
Anyway ,You have scored enough to get a government seat for bams course.

Hi,

See in somedays counselling for bams course will also begin. Meanwhile you can go through previous year's cut off to get a rough idea. Any score above 300 is considered good for a bams seat. Don't worry much. If your score is above 300 then you have a good Chance of getting a seat. Hope for the best. Good Luck!

Hello aspirant,

Well a simple criteria is followed for admission in BAMS and BHMS colleges, for reserved categories :

For BHMS

You need to score 300+ for government college.

119+ for private college

For BAMS :

400+ for government college for BAMS

300 +for semi government college

119-280 for private colleges.

Hope it helps

Thank you

Hey,

As you stated that you belong to general category, with this marks it is not possible for you to get admission in any government College for MBBS or BDS courses. For that you would require around 550+ to be on the safe side. Also getting a government BAMS college will be very difficult because for government BAMS college, a marks of around 420+ is required.

All the best

Hello aspirant,

Well according to last year's cutoff trends I have the information that the BAMS colleges follow a simple criteria :

For reserved categories :

400+ you can get into a government college for BAMS

300+you can get into a semi government college for BAMS

119-280 you can get into a private college for BAMS.

Thank you

You have not mentioned your state clearly , if you have domicile of any state then you can seek admission in that state through 85 % state quota . If this does not work any way then you can get admission through all india quota.
Generally ,The expected cutoff marks for admission into these courses for general category students is around 300 for private colleges it's around 250.
But do remember that cutoffs are expected to rise a bit this time.so it's difficult to put forward any specific prediction.

Hi,

First round of counselling for neet 2019 has already ended. Soon counselling for other courses will also begin. So for a rough idea you can go through previous year's cut off and ranking. Don't worry much. Soon you will know the cut off and ranking requirement for this year and that what matters. Any score above 300 is considered good for getting a bams seat.  Hope for the best. Good Luck!
