Hello Neha.
At this rank you can't expect a government medical college though you are just on the boundary line of cut off of BAMS. I suggest you to go for counselling and put lko college on top then also choose other colleges. in case you didn't get it you will be having something to select and decide.
Ok.
Good luck
Hello Praveen!

Good luck!
Hello,
Your chances of getting Government college for the course of BAMS or BHMS at marks of 201 is difficult because the number of Government colleges is very less as compared to a large number of students.
“Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery” (BAMS) AND “Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical and Surgery” (BHMS) are the most preferable courses by any NEET aspirant.
To get admission in a Government college for BAMS/BHMS course, your score should be above 350 marks. However, it varies from state to state. In some states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala, and Punjab the cutoff may be on the higher side because of less number of seats as well as high competition.
However, you can get admission in private colleges because the numbers of private colleges are more in every state. The annual fee for BAMS/BHMS course is around 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs. Choose the college according to your convenience. The college should be situated near the main city and also consider the infrastructure and level of study in the college. Prefer old colleges over newly established colleges.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Hello,
BHMS or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is a UG academic degree course which covers medical knowledge of the homoeopathic system. BHMS course is of 5½ year duration which includes an internship. The course can be pursued after completion of 10+2 level of education with 50% marks in aggregate.

In order to get admission candidates have to fill an application form and participate in the counselling process to be conducted by the corresponding College/Institution.
Eligibility For Admission:
The candidate must have qualified National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education in order to get admitted in the BHMS/BAMS Programme.
Reservation:
Reservation and relaxations may exist, based on caste, NRI quota, donation quota etc. One will have to enquire with the state wise admission authority and/or institute to get details about reservation status.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Hello,
As you have mentioned that your neet score is 278 marks which is not that good score to get into a government medical college for BHMS or BAMS. But as you have ews reservation and you fall under ews category, so looking this you might have 10% reservation quota seats in Telangana.
Therefore, you have a positive side that you fall under ews category, because of which you have good chances to get a government seat for BHMS or BAMS.
So, relax and just go for it!!!!!
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Hello Payal.
Yes you had successfully qualified NEET exam so you can get admission in private colleges easily.
As far as BAMS private college is concerned you will surely get it . You have to go for the counselling and in addition to it choose college of your interest and talk to the officials of that college . They will guide you through the process better.
Good luck.
Feel free to ask any query further.

Hey,
it is very difficult for you to get a government medical college for any of these courses. The cut off this year is expected to be higher than last year. So your chances are very less. Use the college predictor tool to check your chance in any college-
Hey,
With this marks you have less chances of getting admission in a government college for BAMS course. Being an OBC category candidate, you would require around 400+ to be on the safe side. You can try for private BAMS Colleges or for management quota seats.
All the best
