No, it will be very difficult for you to get a government seat and even in private colleges. Even if you have category ank then too its of no use. Even from the state quota it very difficult to get a seat in good or moderate college. You can try colleges not participating in NEET counselling.

Hello Esha, as you have not mentioned your score and All india rank of NEET 2019, it's difficult to provide you with accurate answer. The cutoff for government BAMS college for general category is 420+ and for OBC category is 400+ and for SC is 370+ and for ST is 350+. Some of the government BAMS colleges are: -
1. State Ayurvedic college and hospital, lucknow,UP
2. Government Ayurvedic college and hospital, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
3. Ayurvedic and Unnani Tibbia college, Delhi, UP
4. Dayanand Ayurvedic college and hospital, Jalandhar, Punjab
5. Government Ayurvedic college, Patiala, Punjab
6. Government Ayurvedic Medical college, Bengaluru, karnataka
7. National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan

Hi,

Yes. There seems to be some chance in bams college. First round of counselling for neet 2019 has already begun. Soon the counselling for other courses will begin too. Go for BAMS counselling and see what you get. Hope for the best. Meanwhile go through previous year's cut off in order to have a rough idea.

Good luck!

Hello,

As per your query you have scored 171 marks in neet 2019 and you fall under obc category.
Let me tell you that the cutoff marks for obc category is almost equal to the cuttoff marks for general category. Now, according to your marks which is 171 you chances to get any medical colleges is negligible.
As your marks are so less you won't be able to apply under 85% state quota nor under 15% All India Quota.
To secure a seat in government medical colleges for bams you must have secured 480+ and fir private medical colleges you must have secured at least 400+.

So, you are nit eligible to fetch any seat in any of the medical colleges.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Hey,
The cutoff generally changes every year depending upon the number of candidates appearing in the examination, the category of the candidates, the difficulty level of the examination.
If we take into consideration the previous year data, you do not seem to have any chance in BAMS if you belong to general category. For government College, you need to score above 430+.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that a separate counselling will be held for AYUSH UG admission throughout the nation.

The respective State Government and Ministry of AYSH will conduct Counselling for admission in different Government/Private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy Colleges of the State. The State Authority will conduct Counselling 85% seats while the Central Committee will conduct Counselling for 15% seats.

So, How to register for BAMS counselling 2019?

You must appear in the counselling process. The counselling will be conducted by each State Government separately for admission in their respective State. The Ministry of AYUSH has no direct role in the counselling process.

And after qualifying the NEET exam, candidates have to through State Counselling. As per their rank, candidates will be allotted colleges and course.

Thank You & All the best!

Hey,

Your marks is really low in comparison to the cut off marks of different colleges this year. So you have negligible chances of getting admission in a government college for the following courses. You may look up for management quota seats in private colleges.

All the best

Feel free to ask further.

Hey,

The marks you have secured is low in comparison to the cut off marks of various colleges this year. Also you are from the unreserved category and a minimum of 450+ would keep you on the safe side. You hardly have any chance of getting admission in a government college for the following courses. You can try for private colleges instead.

All the best
