RGR Siddhanthi College of Education that was incepted in 2007 is one of the recognized teacher training institute located in Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This college for boys and girls established in a 2 acre area is aimed at moulding future generation teachers. Recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, the institute offers B.Ed programme with the total intake of 100 students. RGR Siddhanthi has a faculty of 15 competent teachers and this makes the college to have a low student teacher ratio which is considered good this enables the teachers to devote much of their time to teaching their students.

RGR Siddhanthi College also has host of modern facilities that many have been developed with the intention of improving students learning environment. At the center of these amenities is a fully functional library containing standard books, references, encyclopedias, and educational journals. This resource center provides books needed by faculty members for reference and research as well as for study use of B.Ed trainees. The institution also embraces fully stocked lab facilities, such as the Psychology Lab and the Educational Technology Lab, to ensure the learners get real experiences. Science labs for Physical and Biological sciences add on the more practical dimension in teacher training.

Basic to the RGR Siddhanthi College of Education is a two-year full-time B.ED programme, the main focus in the college’s curriculum. The aim of this course is to prepare students for an effective practice in the profession of teaching by providing the needed theoretical and practical knowledge. The programme is actually pre-approved for one hundred seats to eliminate excessive competition in the classroom. The course content is designed to interweave presentation of course material with pedagogy, to equip students for current classrooms.

RGR Siddhanthi College of Education also function based on TSEdCET ranks without any campus interview. This helps guarantee that among the students that the college is admitting, the best prepared for the teaching profession are taken in. The Educational Technology lab offers various forms of audio visual facilities such as; the television, video player, video CD player and projector to make the learners ready for a technology integration in their teaching practices. As for the physical aspect the college offers students sports amenities and a gym. In addition the campus includes an auditorium for occasions and seminars and a health centre with first aid facilities and also it includes the canteen facility for snacks. It is appreciated that such amenities and guest rooms for visiting faculty and other relatives help to provide a proper conducive atmosphere to foster learning and development.

The college is in fact located in Secunderabad area of Andhra Pradesh, India, thus implementing the blessings of urban environment study and yet restricted enough to focus effectively.
