Hello dear student,

There is no as such entrance test but after you register for a course to the university then you have a small test for English and your subject for which you have applied . It's a MCQ based test . After this you will have a personal interview. All this happens in campus . After this you wait for the result for some days and they either mail you the result or they just call you to tell if selected. I hope this was helpful

Thank you

SOP or Statement of Purpose is different for different reasons like if you are applying for a job and you're applying for entrance exams- SOP will not same in both the cases. In general, a SOP should contain your mission, vision and your goals (both short term and long term goals) etc. Go through the link below and follow the tips and make your own SOP.

Please mention which campus of Amity University you are asking about. Not all the campuses are same. So please mention that.

Hii Ankit!
Amity University is indeed a reknowned and one of the best universities in India. Doing MSc biotechnology from Amity is a good choice. The University provides quality education, all the basic amenities, good infrastructure, best faculty with several years of experience, and highly qualified, regular classes are held. Placements are also good. Almost 90% students get placed easily under various specialisations into big and reknowned companies across India with good packages. So, Yes...you can consider joining there.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hey aspirant,

Hope you are doing well!

Both universities are good and have their own advantages and disadvantages. IP University is a state University and Amity is completely a private university. IP has relatively much lower fees than Amity.  Amity university is excellent in terms of infrastructure and extracurricular activities. It offers a plethora of options in extracurricular activities. The infrastructure is beyond amazing. Moreover , Amity has international collaboration with foreign universities. Also , it's very frequently visited by amazingly talented guest speakers. IP has limited amount of seats whereas Amity offers plenty of seats so there are all sorts of people studying in the college.  In terms of placement Amity is really better. Around 300+ companies visit the campus for placement drive. Whereas , some top colleges of IP like VIPS etc are better than Amity University. But , if you can afford the high fees you should definitely go to Amity. Also , Amity teaches compulsory foreign language which is again a plus point in terms of many factors. There are approximately 10-14 subjects per semester in Amity whereas 7-8 subjects in IP every semester.

Both universities have their own plus and minus points this way.

Hope it helps you , all the very best!!!
