Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Centre, Hyderabad, is one of the paramount institutions providing education in the field of social work. The college occupies a ten-acre land that has been planned to accommodate students, faculty and other facilities for effective learning, therefore this institute enrol 208 students and has a faculty of 15 members.

Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Centre offers several amenities to assist the student in improving his or her learning activity. The library of the college is stocked with books, referral journals, online databases and all other resources necessary for social work and allied discipline. They also provide internet amenities and thus students can fetch lots of information over the internet. The campus has an EDP unit where the students and instructors are able to practice the EDPI necessary for present day social work. Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Centre provides a total of three full –time courses in different categories of courses. The BSW course is an undergraduate programme of 3 years and the MSW course is a postgraduate course of 2 years. For the candidates who are eager for optimum learning, the college offers Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work that takes 6 years. All these programmes are meant to prepare students with adequate information as well as technical skills in social work.

The admission volume of Roda Mistry College differs depending on the programme. Accordingly, the MSW programme allocates admission based on merit on the entrance examinations. The college also takes students with valid OUPGCET scores and anyone can be admitted without merit qualification as well. For the Ph.D. programme, candidates must qualify in one of the following examinations. SLET (State Level Eligibility Test), UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test), Osmania University Ph.D. Eligibility Test, or have done M.Phil Social Work.
