RR Dental College and Hospital, better known as RR University Dental College and Health Science, was established in 2011 at Udaipur in Rajasthan. Located across the Umra Railway Station in Umarda, this affiliated college occupies a total area of 9-acre of land. This institute has been accredited as a dental learning center through approval by the Dental Council of India (DCI). Adopting principle and mode of education, the student strength is 324 and faculty strength is 70, which makes the student:teacher ratio more appropriate at this college.

RR Dental College and Hospital has several state of the art facilities that are meant to improve on learning environment and Students’ extra curriculum activities. Students are provided with quality boys and girls hostels with lighted, furnished room and bathroom facilities. There are also colour television and direct-to-home service connectivity’s in most of the common rooms in both the hostels so that the atmosphere is home like. The college library owns a vast collection of dental literature; textbooks, references and both national and international published journals. However, it also serves as a digital library with materials that are viewed through Internet connected computers. For furthering the dreams of aspiring dentists, the college offers the facility with medical and hospital like settings to practice clinically. Sports facilities and a gym within the institution are an example of how the institution aims at the overall growth of students. It also has an auditorium as part of its facilities for occasions and seminars; the college nurtures an active academic environment.

The education offered by RR Dental College and Hospital includes a basic degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) which is a full time course lasting five years. The institute proposes an intake capacity for this programme to be at one hundred seats to aspiring dental persons. In this case, the college is able to concentrate all its efforts towards the offer of quality dental education that prods skilled dentists to the market. The BDS course in RR Dental College enables student to build up adequate knowledge in dental sciences with sufficient theoretical knowledge as well as with practical experience.
