Rural Institute of Higher Studies takes admission at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The RIHS Bhograi admissions are offered in more than 10 branches. Before applying for RIHS admissions the candidate should appear for the relevant entrance examination such as CPET for RIHS postgraduate admissions. The RIHS admissions are based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination for PG courses and merit for UG courses. The university offers PG courses in two fields. The duration of RIHS postgraduate courses is 2 years.

• Candidates must meet the RIHS eligibility criteria for the desired course.

• Register on the online SAMS website portal through the link provided on the RIHS Bhograi official website.

• For admission to PG programmes, candidates must take the Common PG entrance test.

• The final candidates are chosen for RIHS PG admissions based on their performance in their past academics and in the entrance examination.

• The candidates should submit the necessary documents.

• To complete the RIHS admission procedure the candidates must make the payment.

RIHS Admissions: Required Documents

• HSC Mark Sheets-cum Provisional Certificate (or equivalent Board). If an applicant has not received the mark sheet from the Board in-time, then the download mark sheet from Internet will be admissible.

• Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.

• Caste Certificates from revenue office not below the rank of a Tahasildar.

• Schedule Tribes Certificates from revenue office not below the rank of a Tahasildar.

• PH/OH Certificate from CDMO /SDMO/CMO of Capital Hospital (in case of Bhubaneswar)

• Ex-Serviceman Certificate from Zilla Sainik Board.

• Certified true copy of NCC Certincate from the competent authority.

• Certified true copy of the order of transfer & joining in the present station.

• Certified true copy of Migration Certificate for the applicant from other Boards except BSE, Orissa.

• Certified true copy of permanent resident/nativity certificate (for OSA & OLNS candidates)

Note: There is 16.25%, 22.5%, 5% and 1% sanctioned seats reserved for the SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Serviceman, Serving Defense Personnel and Children of Martyrs.
