RVS College of Arts and Science, Karaikal, is a totally autonomous institution and is an affiliated institute of the University of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college is well recognized for offering undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral programs in almost all disciplines related to arts, science, and commerce. Admission to these programs is conducted based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying 10+2 examination, with preference given to those students who have studied the relevant subject.

B.Com Programs: The college is offering specialized B.Com courses like B.Com Computer Applications, B.Com Information Technology, and B.Com Professional Accounting. Admission to these courses is based on merit list prepared from the marks obtained in its qualifying examination.

BCA and BBA Programs: For programs such as Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Business Administration (BBA), including BBA Computer Applications and BBA Logistics, admission will be taken on the performance of the candidate up to 12th standard.

M.Sc Programs: RVS College M.Sc programmes include those in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Mathematics. Admission to these programmes shall be based on the performance in the respective bachelor's degree programme.
