Sahakar Maharshi Kisanrao Varal Patil College of Pharmacy, Nighoj, is a postgraduate institution exclusively offering pharmaceutical education. The institute imparts two programmes: D. Pharma and B. Degree-Wise Admission Procedure
D.Pharma: The college, Sahakar Maharshi Kisanrao Varal Patil College of Pharmacy, Nighoj, is approved for the intake of 60 students for the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy program. It is meant to provide basic pharmaceutical sciences knowledge to the candidates who have passed their 10+2 with science subjects.
B.Pharma: The intake is also 60 students for the three-year Bachelor of Pharmacy program. The B.Pharma admission process is much clearer. For Open category students, eligibility criteria have 45 percent marks in the subjects of PCB/PCM for their 10+2 examination and 40% marks in reserved categories in any one of these two streams (PCB or PCM). The four-year program is an all-rounded education in pharmaceutical sciences and is therefore best suited for students after pharmacy school looking to enter the pharmacy sector.
