Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research, Ratnagiri, popularly known as SIMR, is a renowned educational Institute established in the year 2011. Situated on the Mumbai-Goa Highway NH 66 in Chiplun-Sawarde, Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, the affiliated college has made a place for itself in management education. The College sprawls over 5 acres and AICTE, New Delhi approved. The institute currently has a total enrolment of 97 students with a faculty strength of 7, maintaining a favorable student-teacher ratio. 

All kinds of modern facilities are available to enrich the learning experience of its students. The library at Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research is fully equipped with large stock of books, periodicals, and e-resources has helped the students immensely in their studies. Fully-equipped computer laboratories with unlimited access to the internet on campus, where each student is provided with a free laptop for incorporating information technology in the learning process. 

Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research has only one postgraduate programme, the Master of Business Administration (MBA). This is a full-time, two-year course with an approved intake of 60 students.
