Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research, Ratnagiri, popularly known as SIMR, is a renowned educational Institute established in the year 2011. Situated on the Mumbai-Goa Highway NH 66 in Chiplun-Sawarde, Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, the affiliated college has made a place for itself in management education. The College sprawls over 5 acres and AICTE, New Delhi approved. The institute currently has a total enrolment of 97 students with a faculty strength of 7, maintaining a favorable student-teacher ratio.

The library at Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research is fully equipped with large stock of books, periodicals, and e-resources has helped the students immensely in their studies. Fully-equipped computer laboratories with unlimited access to the internet on campus, where each student is provided with a free laptop for incorporating information technology in the learning process. 

Sahyadri Institute of Management and Research has only one postgraduate programme, the Master of Business Administration (MBA). This is a full-time, two-year course with an approved intake of 60 students.
