Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Political Science is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the Vidyasagar University, Midnapore.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations with minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate(To be calculated by adding the marks obtained in the best five subjects)or 50% marks in the Honours subjects or related subjects are eligible to apply for admission in the Honours Course.

Admission Details

Admission will be done on a Merit basis and the Merit point for admission in Honours Course is to be calculated by adding 10% of the total marks obtained in the best five subjects at H.S or equivalent examination with the marks obtained in the subjects or a related subject in which the admission in Honours Course in sought.
A student must have passed two language subjects of which one must be English at the H.S. Examination. lf any student of science stream in Higher Secondary level applies for Honours Course in Bengali.his/her merit points are to be calculated proportionately by excluding the marks obtained in the practical examinations.
