SHDCHE New Delhi: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

Sant Hari Dass College of Higher Education (SHDCHE), New Delhi, is an affiliated college recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  Usually, the admission cycle is in line with the academic year, which, in general, begins in August to September. For almost all the programs, admissions are likely to open a bit earlier, giving students enough time to prepare and apply. The marks secured in qualifying examinations or in an entrance test as directed or decided by the State Government, UT administration, or the concerned affiliated university will be taken into consideration by the college.

B.Ed and D.El.Ed admissions are conducted based on merit in marks obtained in the qualifying examination/entrance examination. The admissions in the BBA program would be conducted through the common entrance examination organized by Indraprastha University (IPU CET) and the subsequent centralized counseling process. There are quite specific subject combinations and minimum percentage requirements which may apply and are detailed in the program-specific sections, but for most programs, eligibility would generally include completion of 10+2 or equivalent for undergraduate courses and a relevant bachelor's degree for postgraduate courses.

Application Process

The application process for Sant Hari Dass College of Higher Education is different for each program:

For B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs:

1. Look out for announcements about admission in the college website or notice board.
2. Get the application form from the college or download it from the official website.
3. Fill in application form with actual details.
4. Attach all necessary documents such as mark sheets of qualifying examinations, certificates, and others related.
5. Submit completed application form along with required fee to the college admission office before the stipulated date.

For the BBA program:

1. The registration for IPU CET must be done through the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University website.
2. Appearance for the IPU CET is during the scheduled date.
3. Post qualification, the candidate should enter centralized counseling conducted by the university.
4. During the counseling, seats will be selected from Sant Hari Dass College of Higher Education, as there may be a few available.
5. For management quota seats (10%), apply directly to the college after qualifying IPU CET.
6. Submit all required documents and pay the necessary fees to confirm admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Bachelor of Education at the SHDCHE has an intake of 100 students. Admission is based on merit basis based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test as per the policy made by the State Government/UT administration or the affiliated university. A person has to have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field to qualify.

D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education program has an intake of 100 seats, as the admission procedure is similar to that of the B.Ed program, which selects applicants based on merit in qualifying examination or entrance test, following the State Government/UT administration policy. Completion of 10+2 or an equivalent qualification is usually a requirement.

BBA: The seats for the Bachelor of Business Administration are 60. Admissions will be majorly through the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). The university will then conduct centralized counseling for 90% of the seats and the remaining 10% will be filled up as per the management quota. For management quota seats at least an individual has to qualify IPU CET and they shall be selected according to the overall performances in the qualifying examination.

• Mark sheets and certificates of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, graduation as applicable)
• Entrance exam score card (for BBA)
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• ID proof
• Any other documents specified by the college or university.
