Sant Sukhchain Singh Institute of Education focuses solely on preparing students for future teaching practices; it is established in Mansa, Punjab. This is a co- educational institution which was founded in 2012 thus being an institution that has been in existence for more than 10 years. Sant Sukhchain Singh Institute of Education currently offers one full-time course: this is called the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). This course often referred to as E.T.T. which stands for Elementary Teacher Training or J.B.T. for Junior Basic Training is a course of study that takes two years and is intended to produce primary school teachers. The institute has an approved admission capacity of 50 students for this course, which shows that it takes a limited capacity of students for this particular course as well as keeps the education standard high.
