One of the pioneering technical institutions in Nashik, Maharashtra, Santosh N Darade Polytechnic, Babhulgaon, was established in 2002. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and granted recognition to conduct Diploma programmes in Engineering Disciplines. The institute spread over a campus of 5 acres and has a total enrolment of students amounting to 763 and a faculty strength of 68. 

The institute has been provided with an array of facilities for the provision of a proper learning environment to students.
