One of the pioneering technical institutions in Nashik, Maharashtra, Santosh N Darade Polytechnic, Babhulgaon, was established in 2002. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and granted recognition to conduct Diploma programmes in Engineering Disciplines. The institute spread over a campus of 5 acres and has a total enrolment of students amounting to 763 and a faculty strength of 68.

The institute has been provided with an array of facilities for the provision of a proper learning environment to students. There are well-equipped laboratories for each department, so practical exposure is provided, a very essential part of technical education. The library acts as a knowledge centre, fully equipped with all modern facilities, comprising more than 11,000 books and periodicals; it subscribes to a host of e-resources. The IT infrastructure in the institute enables modern methods of teaching and learning processes. On the other hand, the training and placement cell is actively involved in making students employable. The institute provides transportation facilities to every nook and corner of Yeola city and nearby areas like Kopargaon, Shirdi, and Nashik for the students' convenience.

Santosh N Darade Polytechnic offers four full-time diploma courses, each with a duration of three years. These include Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. This array of courses offers an opportunity for students to pursue specialisations of interest in accordance with their interests and career aspirations.
