The admission procedure at Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law rests entirely upon the University Common Entrance Examination, better known as SNET (Subharti National Entrance Test). This examination is carried out for admission into both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. SNET is generally held once a year with the application notification released well in advance by the university.
For undergraduate programs like BA LLB, the eligible candidate has to appear for SNET examination. Degree wise Admission Process
BA LLB: This is a 5-year integrated program and has an intake of 120 seats. The ranking for selection would consider the performance of candidates in the SNET examination. Candidates must have successfully completed 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
LLM: Admission to the Master of Laws program is based on the SNET examination. Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university for eligibility.
LLM Evening: Designed for working professionals, the program follows the same admission procedure as that for the LLM in the first shift, the chief selection criterion being the SNET examination.
Ph.D. Law: Candidates seeking admission to the Doctoral Program must either sit for the University Common Entrance Examination or face a direct interview. Candidates require a Master's degree in Law along with the cut-off percentage as per university norms.
PG Diploma Programs: The institute proposes a complete set of Postgraduate Diploma programs in specializations within the law area, i.e., Human Rights Law, Media Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Labour Law, and Patent Rights Law. Admission to such programs shall be based either on SNET scores or merit as decided by the institute.
