Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, Meerut was established in the year 2002 as a constituent college of the university and is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The institute is approved by the BCI and offers a wide range of programmes in legal education. Spread over 70 acres, with a faculty strength of 21 members, the institute has garnered an ideal atmosphere for learning the art of law. 

Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law has outstanding facilities provided for students to enhance their learning experience at the institute. The library, sprawling over three floors, accommodates an excellent stock of reference books, law reports, digests, and journals. It follows the open access system, whereby students are directly exposed to materials. The institute also features a state-of-the-art Moot Court Hall, designed to resemble a real courtroom. It thus provides practical experience in argumentation to the students of the law. The campus has state of the art computer labs, having internet connectivity and Wi-Fi availability everywhere. The institute provides sports facilities, gymnasiums, and a cafeteria that offers a variety of cuisines for the overall development of the students.

Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law runs a total of 9 courses at different levels of legal education. Courses comprise undergraduate programmes like 5 years BA LLB, postgraduate programmes like LLM in full-time and evening classes, and Ph.D. in Law. The institute has several programmes leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma in special portions of Law like Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Labour Law, and Patent Practices Law. 

The admission process at Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law takes place through the University Common Entrance Examination. Candidates applying for BA LLB have to appear for SNET. Also, for the postgraduate programmes like LLM, admission is granted based on SNET scores. The PhD course is offered through a University Common Entrance Examination or by direct interview. For the Postgraduate Diploma courses, admission is given based on SNET scores or based on merit.
