Sarvodaya college of education for Women, Virajpet and has a feel of over 36 years started during the year 1973 is one among the reputed educational institution in the field of teacher education in Karnatak, INDIA. About the Sarvodaya College of Education Today the college offers only the main course that is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. It is a two-year full course containing elements that will allow students to contribute to the teaching profession. The college is allowed to admit 50 students for this program in order to guarantee personal attention and proper learning. 

Like a majority of Indian institution, Sarvodaya College of Education follows the merit system where intake is done base on marks in the entrance test and qualifying examination.
