Sarvodaya college of education for Women, Virajpet and has a feel of over 36 years started during the year 1973 is one among the reputed educational institution in the field of teacher education in Karnatak, INDIA. This affiliated college is situated in undergraduates paradise, the pious town called Virajpet, Kodagu district and has been molding the future educators for almost five decades.

About the Sarvodaya College of Education Today the college offers only the main course that is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. It is a two-year full course containing elements that will allow students to contribute to the teaching profession. The college is allowed to admit 50 students for this program in order to guarantee personal attention and proper learning.

Currently, there is also a faculty of 11 professional teachers to make an ideal student teacher ratio that enhances interaction and guidance. To get the B.Ed from Sarvodaya College of Education the program consists of learning different strategies of teaching, the educational psychology and finicky teaching techniques in different subjects.
