School of Legal Studies (SLS), established in 1962, imparts quality education in law courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. It is a school of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi and offers courses such as LLB, LLM and Ph.D programmes.

SLS CUSAT courses include LLB, B.Com LLB(H), BBA LLB (H), LLM and Ph.D (Law) with a duration ranging from 1 to 6 years. SLS provides a full-time LL.M. Degree programme that lasts for one year. The programme offers specialisations in various areas, including Administrative Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Consumer and Competition Laws, Corporate Governance, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights Law and others. The B.Com LLB (Hons.) dual degree programme includes commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and essential Law subjects.

To be admitted to SLS CUSAT courses, candidates must pass an entrance test and be listed on the rank list. The entrance test CUSAT-CAT applies to LLB, B.Com LLB (H), BBA LLB (H) programmes and the LLM course. College Infrastructure

School of legal studies,Cochin University of science and technology which is situated in kochin have Library is the only good facility available there. The infrastructure of the college and campus is very poor. So is that of the university hostel. Both lack basic cleanliness and there is no renovation that happens there. Students who can afford private hostels seldom stay in the university hostel.

SLS was a good learning curve in my life.

College Infrastructure

Since it is a government college, there are only minimum facilities and infrastructure present. Among the avilable infrastructure Libraries and hostels are well maintained. Overall for the fees being paid, infrastructure available is satisfactory.

Experience is good.It is a place where you get a lot freedom

College Infrastructure

You cannot expect a great infrastructure here. Even the water cooler is not in a usable state.Its ok,you can either bring water bottles or get is from your friends.The department is not attractive.so dont expect much about the infrastructure.

Can i get admission in cusat through klee?

Hello,

If you are seeking admission to Law course Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi then you need to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. The university conducts their own entrance examination for admission to various courses. It does not accept Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) course. The eligibility criteria to get admission to LLM in CUSAT is that a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks from any University of Kerala or an examination of any other University accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto. Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe candidates are eligible for concession admissible under the orders of the Government. There are two parts in CAT

Part-1

Proficiency in English and GK- 50 questions
Analytical Reasoning Capability- 50 Questions

PART-2

Compulsory papers in Law as prescribed by BAR Council of India-50 Questions

Rank List of LL.M (Two year) will be prepared based on the following criteria:
