School of Management, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boys’ hostel on the campus premises. School of Management, SKCET Coimbatore boys’ hostel can accommodate 1600 students. In the boys’ hostel, the postgraduate students are allotted single rooms. The boys’ hostel is equipped with a solar water heater for hot water supply.

The college has The girls' hostel at the School of Management, SKCET Coimbatore can accommodate 850 students. Single rooms are assigned to the postgraduate students in the girls' hostel. For hot water supply, the School of Management, SKCET Coimbatore girls’ hostel has a solar water heater.

The college is well connected with the Wi-Fi system. Students and faculty members can access the internet through a Wi-Fi connection. 

The college has a Central Library. The School of Management, SKCET Coimbatore library has a large collection of about 79,600 volumes of books on 40,927 titles on various subjects. Scholarly resources in digital and visual modes such as NPTEL video lectures and Web courses, NMEICT - Spoken Tutorials, e-learning portal, Knowledge Portal, SCOPUS and Web of Science Bibliographic Databases, IEEE, ASME, EBSCO, and ASCE Online Journal packages are available in the library. National and International periodicals in print and digital modes and CDs / VCDs / DVDs are also available.

The college has departmental-based laboratories. Each department has specific labs equipped with lab equipment depending upon the requirement.

The college has a well-maintained big auditorium where several events, functions, programs, and seminars are held.

The college has a food court or cafeteria on the campus that provides nutritious and hygienic food to students at a reasonable price. 

The college has an on-campus healthcare centre named Ramakrishna Hospital Healthcare Centre. The medical centre is equipped with 4 beds, a first-aid facility, ECG, X-ray, laboratory, pharmacy and an ambulance available for emergencies.

School of Management has a well-maintained IT infrastructure. It controls the networking of the entire campus.

The college has a well-maintained gymnasium. The gym is equipped with modern machines such as biceps curl, cable crossover, smith machine, flat bench, commercial treadmill, etc.

The college has well-laid playgrounds to cater to the student’s needs for outdoor games like cricket, football, hockey, and volleyball. A 400-meter track with eight lanes is also available for athletic events on the grounds. On the campus, there are separate facilities for ball badminton and kabaddi. Furthermore, the institution has a separate multipurpose hall for indoor games such as table tennis, shuttlecock, carrom, and chess. 

The college has two ATMs and they are Axis Bank ATM and SBI ATM. Students and faculty members can access the ATM available on the campus for transactions. 

The college has provided bus services from various locations all over the Coimbatore city to the institute. The institute has a  fleet of 15 buses to cater to the transportation needs of students and staff. The bus takes up students from both outside the city and near the campus and drops them off at the same location every day. The institute ensures the safety of the students by hiring a well-trained team of drivers with speed control devices and a first-aid kit in all the buses.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
