The College Central Library was established on 26th Oct. 1984 as a part of the University to meet the academic needs and requirements of the students, teachers, and research scholars. It is housed in a spacious building, having a seating capacity of more than 500 at a time. Its collection comprises 1,52,033 books, 5258 e-books, 4567 back volumes of Indian/ Foreign scholarly journals, and 1433 Ph.D. theses. The library uses SOUL 2.0 software for automation and to provide RFID-based services to its users. Free Internet and Wi-Fi facilities have been made available to the users inside the Library and campus to access e-resources. Reprography, Current awareness service (CAS), and Selective Dissemination of information (SDI) were also made available on demand.
The College Computer Center of G G University was established in 1990 and has been an advanced state-of-the-art since its inception. It is equipped with the latest versions of hardware machines and software. The Computer Center provides a central facility for the growth and development of teaching, research, administration, examination, finance, and other important cells of the University. Computer Centre has several versions of Unix and Windows operating systems. Surrounded by beautiful green boundaries of trees, the Computer Centre has more than 80 terminals (i-5) with Windows and Linux Operating Systems. A sufficiently large number of Peripherals such as Printers, switches, multimedia devices, and equipment support the PCs for Users. The standard packages used for office automation, programming, and computation are installed to assist students, faculty, and researchers of the University. The Centre had initially installed a VSAT (@256 Kbps Broadband) connectivity under the UGC INFONET Scheme. Now the systems of the Computer Center are running with NKN with broadband high-speed connectivity.
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
The college has three Boys' hostels, a hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
One Girls Hostel is available to provide accommodation to students.
The college has a health center that caters to the needs of the students, residents of the campus, and employees of the University. One Medical Officer, along with assisting staff is posted at the Centre. From time to time, specialist doctors from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) visit the Health Centre. It is proposed to have the Health Centre shifted to a separate building shortly. More than 7174 patients were examined and treated at the Health Centre during 2010-11. The Health Centre has an Electrocardiography (ECG) machine and a Chemical Blood Analyzer for carrying out various blood tests. The Health Centre also provides 24-hour ambulance services, emergency services are also available with 24-hour doctors on call. The Centre also has limited in-patient facilities. A 24-hour ambulance facility has been provided by the Health Centre.
The college has a cafeteria on the campus, near the administrative building. The canteen provides snacks, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc. during office hours. It operates from 09 a.m. to 06 p.m. on all working days. The canteen committee appointed by the University monitors the quality, rates & standards.
The college has One big Auditorium with a seating capacity of about 800 audiences is a venue for organizing various activities of the University. It has been constructed near an administrative block. The auditorium has a beautiful spacious hall with seating provisions on the ground floor and balcony. The university has conducted its convocations and several other cultural and academic events in this hall. The other big halls adjoining the auditorium are used for state-of-the-art science laboratories for honors and engineering students.
The college has a Guest House having 16 well-furnished suites including 8 VIP AC suites provide a comfortable stay for the visitors to the Campus. An additional Guest House facility for 64 persons is also available in the Forestry Guest House. The Guest House also provides lodging and boarding to visitors as well as during seminars/conferences etc. on reasonable charges.
The college has a well-equipped physical education center with grounds to play Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Lawn tennis, etc. There is one sports complex to improve the athletic skills of youth.
The college has Buses of the university ply between campus and the town (Nehru Chowk) for students and employees of this college.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like, post office, etc.).
The Central Placement Cell (C.P.C) of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya endeavors to facilitate and provide suitable placement in reputed multinationals, government organizations, NGOs, and the private sector. All students of Vishwavidyalaya are entitled to placement assistance, need-based training, and counseling for employment. The cell assures support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making Vishwavidyalya infrastructure available to them.
College have good infrastructure and about 600+ acres of fully green campus. Colleges have well equipped classrooms and a Central Library with a huge collections of books, research papers and magazines. College have 2 playground, 2 basketball court, badminton court etc. Fully Wifi Campus with decent speed. And Hostel have clean and hygienic. Good food quality then outside food.
