Hello Ankit,
So you want a seat in College of Engineering, Pune or PICT,Pune but to be honest even with Scheduled caste category your percentile is very low and it may not be enough to get admission in these premiere institutions. If you really want to study in these institutions, it is my advice to you to study and work harder for next year's MHT CET if possible. You may refer to these links for further informatin:
1) https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff
2)https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/ranking/2018/top-engineering-colleges-in-maharashtra
Best of luck!
Yes you can definitely apply to both the colleges based on your mhtcet score. But as being an OMS student you have claim over 15% share of the seats.Due to this the competition rises and you need to have a good score to get you through. So if you have scored well enough you should surely apply and give it a shot.
Hope it helps!!
Hello Counter
As far as 2018 trends are concerned, ideal score to get into computer engineering in PICT comfortably would be anything above 165/200 for open category students.
However if your choice of branch is ENTC or IT , cutoff would slightly get lowered.
Hii Yogita,

Hi there, your marks are unlikely less to get admission in pict, pune as there last cutoff for cs was 130+. But there are many more college you can apply for.
1. DY patil college of engineering, akurdi, pune
2. VIT, pune
3. Bhartiya vidyapeeth college of engineering, navi mumbai
4. Ramrao adik institute of Technology, mumbai
These are some private college where you can apply for cs branch.
Good luck.
Hi, according to previous year cutoff score you have to score around 175+ to get a seat in pune institute of computer technology, Pune, sometimes it does go to 170 -165 but less than that can't get you a seat in pict ,pune computer science branch. For other branches information technology and electronics&telecommunication engineering around 160 and around 120 is the cutoff score. So,you have a chance to get etc branch in pict, pune.
Our college has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The area of our college is small but they have well maintained it. The college alsi has the wifi facility at each place for seamless connection. Food in the canteen is really very hygienic and the space is also very clean.
college infrastructure is very decent modernized and well equipped with necessary facilities. classrooms are installed with smart boards to access virtual learning. the labs and library are well maintained with new techs and books. the college also provide hostels for both boys and girls.
The experience at PICT was good. It is a good college. The campus is smaller compared to other colleges but that doesn't mean that there aren't necessary equipment. Classrooms and Libraries are very good and well maintained. Sports culture is not very profound in PICT but people who want to do something are always encouraged. Hostels are good. Separate for boys and girls and the food is also okay.
