The College library is housed in a spacious hall comprising of the reference hall and stack area with a spacious reading room. The library of SD has a total strength of more than 2,00,000 of publications. The Libraries also contain audiovisual facilities. the college has a collection of Books, Journals, Research Papers and Periodicals in various fields of Education. It also includes information which is useful for teaching and reference purpose. Every college has its own library at SD.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Institute runs a common mess on a contract basis but under the supervision and guidance of the institute to provide hygienic and nourishing food to students.
