SIET Bijapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College hostel is a home away from home. The residential arrangements are separate for boys. The facilities provided are guided strictly by the sense of comfort and quality of life for our students.  In a room for four inmates, the hostel provides a cot, a mattress, one set of bed sheets, a pillow cover, a study table, a chair, a cupboard for each student, a shoe rack, a solar hot water facility, mineral water for drinking, drawing table (for Architecture students), healthy & hygienic mess facility. The hostel provides English and Kannada newspapers, 24-hour security, common TV in the mess, indoor games, and outdoor games.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College Library has a vast collection of Textbooks, reference books, bound volumes, technical national and international journals, e-books, e-journals, encyclopedias, and other multimedia resources. The library has 29703 volumes and subscribes to 73 technical journals and 10 daily newspapers which include English and Kannada.

College Sports cannot be seen merely as physical games or athletic, they can provide an umpteen number of values to students who participate even if haven't won prizes. Prizes are the secondary output of sports and the primary one is the sportsman spirit. The kind of spirit all youngsters and young adults need to procure to be good humans, competitive and to have the optimum level of emotional quotient.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College canteen is situated on the premises of the institution and sufficient care is taken to see that healthy and wholesome food is served during working hours.

The college Alumni Association strives to nurture a lifelong intellectual and emotional relationship with the college and amongst Alumni; and to provide a sustainable platform for effective networking, goodwill, and support. Engagement is the willingness and ability to contribute to the success of the institute which 'happens' when the three major stakeholders of the institute viz students, faculty, and staff are feeling fully involved and enthusiastic about their roles in the institute.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The College has an ECC Bank to facilitate students with respect to admission fee payment, scholarships, etc.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Training and Placement Cell at SECAB Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayapur facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program for the students. The Training & Placement Cell liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses, etc. which conduct campus interviews and select graduating engineering students from all disciplines.

The college has a mess facility for all students.
