The Music Club of the Serampore Girls’ College was formed by the Governing Body dated 5.5.2022- in the academic session 2021-2022. Friedrich Nietzsche once stated, “Without music, life would be a mistake”. Music is a pleasant sound that is a combination of melodies harmony and rhythm. The art of Music is a medium to create a feeling of cohesion or social connectedness. Music has been used as a therapeutic tool to treat a variety of disorders including cardiac conditions, depression, autism, substance abuse, and Alzheimer’s disease. It can also help with memory, lower blood pressure, improve coping, reduce stress, improve self-esteem, and more.
Training and Placement Cell
The Placement Cell is an important part of a developed and competitive institution and is considered as one of the most important units of an educational institution. Serampore Girls’ College Placement Cell has a team of committed members who always come forward to impart invaluable suggestions for the betterment of the students. The Placement Cell of the College is well networked with Industries and its primary aim is to find a suitable job for our students in reputed companies

College Infrastructure

Free WiFi is available and the facilities include well equipped classrooms, modern laboratories and a well-stocked library. The infrastructure is well maintained, the campus is clean and green and has sports facilities as well. Overall it is a good.
