SES College, Sreekandapuram Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

SES College Sreekandapuram known for its past, is one of the prominent affiliated colleges located in Kannur, Kerala. The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in an extensive range of disciplines. SES College has an open admission policy for all students qualifying for the admission criterion set by the institution. SES College has a very amicable admission process designed to be open and merit-based. Specific entrance test, however, is required for few courses, and the rest are pursued by general admission process in respect to courses. 

Normally, the academic year starts around June-July with admissions commencing a few months before. The admission is open to students who have completed their 10+2 education from any of the approved, recognized boards for undergraduate studies. The admission to the college will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. A Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline is a prerequisite for eligibility to apply for postgraduate programs at SES College.

Application Process

The application process usually goes through these steps in SES college Sreekandapuram:

1. Notification: The college website and local newspapers will publish admission notifications released by the college concerning the start of the application process.

2. Application Form: The candidates can either get the application form completed from the college office or download it from the official website.

3. Filling up of Form: The candidate must fill in the application form accurately--personal and academic details must be kept correct.

4. Submission of Documents: Along with the application form duly filled in, the following documents need to be attached:

• Marksheets and certificates of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation for PG courses)
• Transfer Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Photographs (passport-size recent)

5. Submission of Applications: The completed application form along with all the required documents shall be submitted at the college office before the specified deadline.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.A. Programs: SES College has instituted B.A. programs in English and Economics. The B.A. English program has an approved intake of 82 students (40 in regular and 42 in unaided category) while B.A. Economics has an allocation of 44 seats. Admission is as per qualifying examination marks (10+2).

B.Sc. Programs: The college also has B.Sc. programs in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. The approved intakes for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science (Unaided) are 34, 39, 29, and 24, respectively. Candidates from a science base in their 10+2 can apply under the B.Sc. scheme.

B.Com Programs: B.Com in Cooperation offered in SES College B.Com Computer Applications (Unaided) have the approved intakes of 55 and 49, respectively. Admissions will be based on the qualifying examination mark but may give preference to candidates with a commerce background.

BBA and BCA Programs: The college offers 34 intake students for BBA and another 35 for BCA (Unaided). These courses are very much valid because they target students interested in management and computer applications.

M.A. Programs: In addition to this, SES College also has M.A. programs in Journalism and Mass Communication (25 seats) and M.A. in English (Unaided, 15 seats). Persons with a relevant bachelor's degree qualify for applying.

M.Com Programs: The institute is providing M.Com in Finance (Unaided, 30 seats) and M.Com in International Business (Unaided, 20 seats). Admission will be according to the qualifying B.Com or equivalent degree marks.

M.Sc. Program: M.Sc in Computer Science (Unaided) is open to applicants, with an intake capacity of 15 students. A person with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field qualifies.
