SCOP was set up in the year 1995 in Hyderabad, Telangana Which is one of the topmost pharmacy colleges in India. This affiliated college also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has several pharmaceutical education courses. SCOP Hyderabad is spread over a 5- acre campus; it takes a total of 570 students and has a faculty of 61. At present, the college offers 6 courses in 3 degrees of study focused on different specialisations of pharmaceuticals. Being a co-educational College, SCOP Hyderabad caters to students of different genders making it among the best Colleges interested in fostering non-segregation in education.
SCOP has many places for students to use and get through their days as students in college. The library occupies a large hall and has a vast number of books, domestic and foreign journals of practical importance, and periodicals in the field of science and technology. For research purposes, there are internet accessible computers as well. The various facilities available at SCOP Hyderabad include updated laboratories for every department contributing to practical learning sessions. Administration and Pharmaceutical Services Invigilation Section: With regard to the courses being offered at SCOP Hyderabad The courses offered by SCOP Hyderabad are as follows: It presently offers six full time programmes taught at undergraduate levels, postgraduate levels as well as doctoral levels. The total number of approved intake for all the courses of the institution is 185 seats. The expected intake of the students is 100 and the flagship programme is B.Pharma. Others are M.Pharma with specialisation in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality assurance, which take 15 students each. There is also Pharm.D with 30 and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate courses which has 10 seats available respectively.
The process of admission at SCOP Hyderabad differs in different programmes. For B.Pharma course, the admission is done in the basis of Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Seventy percent of the seats in the college are filled under convener quota known as A category and 30percent of the seats are filled with management quota known as B category. In case of M.Pharma programmes, only those candidates who have qualified the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) will be considered. Another population of students the college targets is the minority as well as the non-minority population in order to enhance diversity within the college. Training and Placement Cell of SCOP Hyderabad is also functional and it helps in co-ordinating recruitment related activities with the industy for final year students to visit the campus. There is a college alumni association that facilitates the interaction of the college and the graduates with an objective of enhancing individual, team, institutional as well as the general welfare of persons engaged in the practice of pharmacy.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: Admission to the B.Pharma program shall be based upon TS EAMCET scores, which is approved for an intake of 100 seats, both minority and non-minority candidates being eligible for the course. Under the already mentioned 70-30 quota system, the admission process will also take place.
M.Pharma: SCOP Hyderabad shall offer three specializations for M.Pharma:
