Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic, popularly known as SAKP, is one of the premier technical institutions established in the year 1983 and located at Chembur, Mumbai. This affiliated, non-autonomous college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, has been catering to technical talent since almost four decades. This institute has a total student enrolment capacity of 237 in various diploma courses in emerging branches of Engineering. 

There are a range of facilities within SAKP that make learning easier for its students. The Polytechnic building, inside the College campus itself, accommodates the library on its first floor. This centre of learning can accommodate 100 students at a time in its spacious seating area. The Institute has an automation-supported library and has implemented barcode technology to monitor the issuing and receipt of books. The Institute also takes care of health with its medical centre providing first-aid facilities to the student. Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports aid to the holistic development of students in SAKP. The IT infrastructure of the college provides perfect support to modern learning and teaching methods. A canteen within the campus premises caters to the dietary needs of the students and staff. Departmental laboratories, meeting the requirements of each department, are very essential for hands-on experience which is a critical component of technical education.

The institute offers four full-time diploma programmes designed to cater to the ever-evolving demands of the tech industry. These courses include the Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, and Electronics Engineering. Much emphasis is placed on practical knowledge, and industry-related skills are inculcated into the trainees, making graduates very successful in their respective professions.
