The College has library is attached to Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic College. It came into existence when the college was established in the year 1983. It is housed at first floor of Polytechnic building. The library has enough space for stack area, circulation counter, and library office. It is well-ventilated and has comfortable seating arrangement in the reading area which can accommodate 100 students at a time. Users of the library include staff, students, dropouts and alumni.The library is automated using in-house developed library software for handling routine activities.Barcodes are used for labeling the book collection.OPAC is made available to enable users to search for the titles.

The seed of our Alumni Association was planted in a series of meetings of SAKP Alumni beginning 2004. Informal meetings progressed to the establishment of contact with the Management, Administration, Staff and finally led to the formal inauguration of Alumni Association in June 2004 with the conduct of AGM of ex-students for the preparation of bye-laws of SAKPAA. The objectives for which the association is established are:To secure an intimate contact amongst the Alumni past & present students and the staff.To promote and support educational activities and programmes for the benefit of the alumni past and present students.To assist the alumni past and present students and the institution in the training and placement of students.To assist the needy and deserving students by financing their studies by way of grants and scholarships.To institute awards for deserving students to the Polytechnic for their performance in academics and sports.
