Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) Indian Institute of Technology Bombay was founded in 1995. Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is a constituent college of the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay.
IIT Bombay offers a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Business Administration programme. SJMSOM IIT Bombay selection criteria for the MBA course will be based on the CAT scores and performance in a personal interview. IIT Bombay selection criteria for PhD course will be based on the UGC-JRF/UGC-NET/CSIR-JRF/CSIR-NET during the last 5 years or CAT/GATE/GMAT/ GRE during the last 5 years (candidates who have MBA/PGDM/MTech from the Institute of National Importance in the last 5 years are exempted from appearing in the Aptitude Test).

The eligibility criteria for MBA in IIT Bombay is passed four years bachelor's degree or master's degree from a recognized university securing 60% marks, there is relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PwD, now if your undergraduate degree is for three years duration then you need to pursue master's degree of two years from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this program at IIT Bombay, also you have to meet the required aggregate as per your category at pg level also, as long as the university from which you have pursued graduation or will do pg is recognized by ugc, there is no problem in pursuing MBA in regular mode from top universities, check out the official website at https://www.som.iitb.ac.in/?p=1536 to know more details regarding this,
