Sharadchandraji Pawar Polytechnic College is a technical institution which came into existence in 2008 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Located on the Beed bypass Highway close to Videocon Company Ltd this affiliated college is spread over an area of 10 acres of land. AICTE accredited institute offering a variety of engineering streams to provide quality education to the candidates. The college takes a total of 162 students in a year, while the faculty members include 39 people thus giving the college an enhanced student to faculty ratio.

Sharadchandraji Pawar Polytechnic College has several other facilities that would enhance learning in the college as will be seen below. The students’ reading list, as well as the material required in classes by the professors and educators, should be available in a university library. Modern equipped laboratory facilities on the basis of the fresh technologies for disciplines’ practical study are created in the different departments. Sharadchandraji Pawar Polytechnic College has in total five diploma courses which are all in one degree categories. The offered programmes are aimed to provide the choice of the professional activity field for future engineers and technologists- Diploma in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering etc. This shows the college’s ability to produce a large number of technical professionals every year, it has total approved intake of 285 across all of its courses. Therefore, the basic requirement is to have good grades in the science subjects at the 10+2 levels.
