Sharda Polytechnic College, Latur is an affiliate college situated in Aurad Shahajani, Latur district, M.H. In overview the college was setup with aim to offer technical education standard with the campus area of 7.98 acre. Affiliated to AMU and approved by AICTE, Sharda Polytechnic provides the students with four diploma courses with a total intake capacity of 204. The faculty recruitments show that this college has a sanctioned strength of 2, which means that focus is paid on each child. Realizing the engineering disciplines, the goals of Sharda Polytechnic are to produce efficient technicians for the changing industrial world.

At present, Sharda Polytechnic College teaches four full- time diploma courses all of which have a duration of three years. These programs focus on several disciplines in engineering whereby students are offered basic knowledge in the areas of specialization. The college has a total approved intake of 120 students the number of students to be admitted in each course are as follows 30. This limited intake also makes for a good student faculty ratio that is considered to be optimal since the students and faculty members can really engage with each other and pay personal attention to each other.
