Sangli Vishveshwarya Technical Campus, Miraj, was established in 2012. Affiliated with Shivaji University, the campus is immense, built within 32 acres of land located at Patgaon, Miraj, Maharashtra. VTC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education to offer various engineering programs. It has a student enrolment of 197, with the faculty count 22.

VTC has a varied number of facilities to enhance the learning experience for its students. Hands-on practical knowledge is further well served and supported by well-equipped laboratories with all facilities to cover all sorts of experiments in the syllabus. The central library is a reservoir of knowledge with more than 13,000 books and periodicals, which is further supplemented by a digital library equipped with 20 computers to access e-resources. It has a cafeteria which acts botheating hall and a place to exchange ideas among the students. The institute has its own bus service for commutation to different nearby cities.

The institute offers 6 courses, full time undergraduate engineering programs and diploma courses. Full-time BE (Bachelor of Engineering) programs vary for 4 years in duration, and the diploma programs are for 3 years.

The total admission process of VTC is on merit basis. The candidate has to comply by the rules and regulations defined by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai. For BE programs under VGEC, the candidate has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). This institute participates in the Centralised Admission Process conducted by DTE for both BE and Diploma courses. JEE Main scores are considered at the institute for BE Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Diploma admissions are also done based on the CAP round and 100% of the seats are filled with merit.
