Shivnagar Vidya Prasarak Mandal's College of Pharmacy is a well-known pharmaceutical education institution. The admission process at SVPM's College of Pharmacy selects meritorious students in the pharmacy courses offered by this college at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The college accepts pharmacy admissions mainly via the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET. MHT CET is one of the popular entrance examinations across the state in Maharashtra for undergraduate and post-graduate courses from various professional areas, including the pharmacy stream. For the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group, exams are usually conducted by the end of April, next being on 8th of April 2025.
For undergraduate admission, a candidate must have 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They should be admitted through the respective selection procedure based on the MHT CET and their previous academic record. A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized university is required for a postgraduate program.

SVPM's College of Pharmacy, Malegaon Application Process
The application procedure normally includes the following steps:
1. MHT CET Examination: Students have to apply for and appear for the MHT CET exam conducted usually in the month of April. The test checks knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics.
2. Counseling registration at state level : The eligible candidates can get registered in the state level counseling process initiated by the concerned authority of Maharashtra state after declaration of result of MHT CET.
3. Document Verification: The candidates will be called up for the process of document verification. Generally, this includes:
4.Counselling process: during counseling, the candidate is required to enter the preferences for college and courses.
5. Seat allotment: based on rank secured by the candidate in MHT CET, choices marked during counseling, and seats available in the course preferred.
6. Reporting to the college: Candidates who get seats in SVPM's College of Pharmacy have to report at the college on that date and time specified for document verification and payment of fees.
7. Admission confirmed: When all documents are verified and dues paid, then admission is confirmed.
For postgraduate programs, it is a little different. The merit will be obtained from GPAT scores or state-level PG entrance exam result in case of MHT CET.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The intake of 100 seats for the Bachelor of Pharmacy course in SVPM's College of Pharmacy is approved. The admission to this four-year undergraduate course is given based on the MHT CET score of the candidate. Eligible candidates should have completed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics.
D.Pharma: The Diploma in Pharmacy course offers 60 seats. Probably, the admission is given based on 12th standard marks or a relevant entrance exam.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: The approved intake for this postgraduate program is 15 seats. Admission is usually through the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or a state-level PG entrance exam, followed by counseling.
M. Pharm Pharmaceutics The M. Pharm in Pharmaceuticals is also having approved intake for 15 seats. Admission procedures for this must also be very similar to those followed by all the other M. Pharm programmes that consider either the GPAT score or scores from state level PG entrance exam.
